Review:
I can honestly say I am not always the
biggest fan of anthologies, but this one had some nice tie-ins and the thrill
in each on was fascinating. Each of the
stories was written by a different author but the thread that pulled them all
together was the school that the Heroine’s attended where they formed friendships
and dealt with terrifying experiences each in their own way. I enjoyed each of the stories, though I wish
they’d had a bit more of the romance angle in them. Each lady met their knight in their story and
they found love, but the focus was definitely on the suspense and defeating the
bad guy. My favorite by far was Erin and
Rafe’s story, but I enjoyed each of them for their individual stories as well
as how they all tied in to one another.
I love anything written by Alexandra Ivy of course which is why I grabbed
this anthology up and look forward to more of her suspense novels for
sure. If you are looking for something
to give you a little thrill on a dark stormy night you can’t go wrong with
these short stories.
